A place for everything, and everything in it's place. This was the goal of the family when designing a mudroom to act as the daily catch-all space when entering the home. A challenging build component was the open-corner design, which was a great opportunity to use all the space, and introduce a fun hidden component!
With plenty of hooks for everyone's hats, coats & bags, the mudroom defines stylish practicality. Cubbies for shoes and accessories below, charging ports for everyone's electronics both on the wide seating bench and the pedestal, with more storage up top and this mudroom has something for everyone...even the Double Dog !
Details include a secret storage area above, which is just perfect to hide gifts from Santa. Security camera wiring was relocated for an integrated design, and with a view of looking good from all angles, additional power outlets were installed above the cabinets for holiday lights and lighted signs.
This mudroom turned an unloved corner that accumulated a chaotic heap of stuff into a stunning signature piece for our happy & organized homeowners.
